The Coffee Works, situated in the premier coffee growing region of Australia, on the Cairns Highlands, has become recognised as the most significant roasters and purveyors of Australian coffee in the country. This is the biggest, best and most significant collection of coffee artefacts in the world, presented as one entire exhibition, for the very first time in history. The story and origins of these treasures span 6 continents and date back as far as the early 1700s.

Big Fish Down Under

Situated opposite the Daintree Ferry turn-off the cafe is the ideal location to pull in for a bite to eat before you start your tour of teh area of the last stop before your long drive home. This rustic style roadside diner can provide anything from the humble hamburger to the best barramundi meal in town, or a homemade banana muffin with your pot of Daintree Tea.

Daintree Entomological Museum

The Museum is easy to find and well worth it. The Cooper Creek area is the richest part of the Daintree Coast You will locate us 17kms north of the Daintree river ferry, on the way to Cape Tribulation on Turpentine Road, 200 metres from the corner. You cant miss the large Spider web Gates and as you enter you will realize that your experience to this Mysterious Rainforest is about to start
