As we approach Cape Raoul, Mt Brown forms a striking backdrop. Marvel at the towering columnar dolerite cliffs, rising over 250 meters from the sea, and keep an eye out for playful Australian fur seals basking at their base.

Look to the skies for magnificent wildlife, including albatrosses, white-bellied sea eagles, and other seabirds gliding above. Stay alert for dolphins riding the boat’s bow waves and whales cruising the southeastern coast during their southern migration.

This could have been a 6 hour trip instead was of 8 hours. Plenty of time to walk the grounds. Glad we made the visit anyway.
